This position requires multi-tasking, flexibility and a positive work attitude, with the ability to work well with others.
The work is fast-paced and requires strong attention to detail, while also meeting tight deadlines.
Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of English mechanics, grammar and usage.
Advanced knowledge of formatting in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of standard construction terminology is highly desirable.
Ability to work with others in a team environment.
This is not a freelance or remote position.
The Report Production Assistant will work full time out of our Grayslake, Illinois headquarters.
Responsibilities:
Proofreading, building and issuing reports to clients.
Invoicing projects (experience using Quickbooks a plus, but not required).
Archiving reports and projects.
Transcribing photo caption documents for Architects/Engineers.
Generating templates for projects.
Updating distribution information for projects by directly communicating with clients.
Typing handwritten reports when needed.
Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor's degree required.
One year of proofreading experience preferred.
